NEW FOR 2024 - GUIDED DIVE TRIPS FROM CAIRNS!!
For our guided dive trips departing from Cairns, we use two outstanding vessels - 'Aquaquest', and 'Reefquest'. Each of these fantastic dive boats offer generous space and comfort while diving at the Outer Reef. Our trips are full-day (0730-1630) and allow us to make up to three dives at two different Outer Reef dive sites. The exact spots we dive are chosen on the day, with the weather and other environmental conditions having the greatest influence on the choice. However, the dives will be on either Norman, Saxon or Hastings Reef.

WHERE DO
WE DIVE?
The best dive sites on the Great Barrier Reef, are found on the areas near the edge of the continental shelf, often referred to as the "Drop-off". These are the "Outer Reefs", the most pristine locations for diving and snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, where we can see the healthiest corals and most abundant marine life. The sites we visit from Cairns are found north-east from our departure point of Cairns Marlin Marina, and after only a 90-100 minute journey, we arrive at the pristine waters for our first dive of the day.
Aside from a few favourites that are on many divers wish lists - sharks and turtles being two we can think of, there is a huge variety of wildlife that can be seen on one of our trips. We can't make any promises, but we often see stingrays, lionfish, nudibranchs, sweetlips, and barracuda among a whole host of creatures!
For anyone visiting the reef between June and August, there is also an excellent chance of seeing Humpback whales on their annual migration, or for something even more special, the opportunity to swim with the ocean's friendliest whale - the Dwarf Minke!
